Configuration for the
HP 0/2 Color Light Signal

The HP 0/2 signal is a signal, which only shows "red" (Stop) or green/yellow (Go Slowly).
There are many uses for this signal. It is normally used as an entry or exit signal or as a signal before a change in the track.

Basically, three different signal types can be distinguished:

- Color light signals with a decoder
can be connected directly to the Central Station.
- Color light signals with a mechanism
are to be connected to the k83 decoder.
- Professional quality color light signals without a mechanism
are to be connected to the k84 decoder.

Please note that the correct address must be set on the decoder for the signal.
During the configuration process for the signal you can read the appropriate switch settings after you have selected the corresponding group of switches (k83 or k84 decoder with 8 switches) and then transfer the settings to the signal decoder.

The signal can be assigned a name of your choice under "Name". The name for the signal is displayed above the pair of buttons assigned to that signal.

The switching duration indicates how long the switching impulse is sent (entry in milliseconds). We recommend a value between 250 and 500 for signals.

Here is the way you connect the k 83 or k 84 signal decoder to this signal.
